How Long Is Your Trip?

You Don't Need The Sink

Deciding how big of pack you need for your adventure really just depends on how long your adventure is going to be.

Day or Overnight

This is just an overnight bag meant for one or two days. You will most likely only need a pack that holds 20-50 liters. This is great for those hikes in the woods as well as scout packs.

Weekend

This is for the weekend camping trip lasting two or three days. You will most likely need a pack that holds 50-60 liters. It's also great as a pack to keep in your vehicle.

Multiday

This is for your Wilderness Week lasting between two and five days. A bag that can hold 60-80 liters is best for this. You may also use this pack for any shorter stay should you be packing for a child.

Extended Stays

This is your traditional bug out bag that will hold everything you need for an extended stay in the wilderness, anything over 5 days. You will need a bag that holds more than 80 liters.

Cold Weather

These measurements do not include winter preperations. It is advised to pack a larger bag with cold weather gear for the desired stay. This includes heavier or thicker coats, rated sleeping bags, and dry socks, gloves and hats.
